Dr Charles Bradbury settled in this area after marrying heiress Yvonne Stableton. Together they established several businesses and staff them with their philanthropic success stories. The Bradburys take in those down on their luck and help them get back on their feet. All of this in exchange for 100% of their material posessions and total religious devotion.

New pledges should report to the Big House after seeing the idelic lifestyle the most senior members experience living on main street.

History

Dr Charles Ray Bradbury was a doctor of psychiatry and staunch Mormon before a misson trip to Papua New Guinea. On this trip he recieved a religious epiphany and left his mission group to live on the streets for 3 months and wrote his manifesto. When he returned to America he was aradically different man, he immediatly began breaking off all of his relationships including his fiance Gracelle Patters. Gracelle said later in an interview that before this break Charles had been a sweet man who never so much as rose his voice. However, after he returned, in the few days they had together, Charles slept strange hours. He was irritable and violent towards Gracelle before she fled.

Charles would then move to Sweeden where he practiced medicine rurally. While in Sweeden, he met Yvonne Stableton. Yvonne was a nun on a sebatical, teaching English to students at parochial schools. They started an affair almost immediatly after meeting.

Charles breifly returned to America with Yvonne, only long enough to have a courthouse wedding before flying to England. Charles and Yvonne stayed with Yvonne's family in England for 3 weeks. The official record of those 3 weeks is unclear. Yvonne was named the sole excecutor and beneficiary of her father, Lord Gustave Stableton's will in a suicide note. This note was found on his body in the closet of the spare bedroom.

The full details of the note was never made public but Yvonne has spoken to its content. The note declared that Yvonne's mother had been having an affair with Yvonne's godfather. The night of his suicide, he discovered them together which drove him to take his own life.

Her father expressed great admiration for Yvonne's pius lifestyle, stating this as the reason he has left his entire estate to her.

Charles and Yvonne were questioned, but no charges were ever laid. They departed to Australia and immediatly sold all of her father's assets. This left her mother destitute. They used the money to fund their complex.

The wider community is welcome to shop at any of the complex's many shops and walk freely through the grounds, and attend daily lectures and speaches given by Charles, Yvonne, or higher members of the complex.

People interested in joining the complex should organise the have tea with Charles and Yvonne, make time to attend the lectures everydau and groups in the help centre. After at least a year, they may then be offered to move to the complex. This offer includes no expenses living and the complex will cover any education you desire, however Charles and Yvonne will control all your finances and sell everything you own. You will have to work on the complex.

The lowest level employees of the complex of work as farmers and cleaners. After this, you are able to choose a specialisation. They may choose to study under another superiour member or study paid for by Charles and Yvonne. Members can also be chosen as house workers for the big house or high members.

A marriage is considered, first and foremost a business pertnership. All marriages are made between people of the same or similar specialisations. Partnerships are somewhat self elected, though often due to pressure from higher members. Adultery and sexual non-manogamy is not frowned upon and is actively encouraged in the complex. Marriages are only performed by Charles and Yvonne and only with their approval. This is reserved for high members only.

Child rearing is determined matrelinially. Children from a mother who is not married are raised communally, while children to a married mother are raised in the mother's home. Children spend most of their time together in communal schooling and activities regardless of their mother's standing.

Yvonne and Charles live in the Big House. Despite being refered to as 'the big house', it is actually quite a modest one bedroom house. This is where Yvonne and Charles entertain those interested in joining the complex. The basement is where the lowest levels of complx members live.

After Charles and Yvonne, the next most senior members are Jean-Paul and Margurite Romilly and their daughter Francesca. The Romillys run the green grocer.

Simon and Angela Bohler and their two children Ruben and Dean live above the butchers where they work.

Lydia and Mark O'Grady work at the retail store with their daughter Dulcie.

Emiliana and Carlos, and their son Fabian LaBeau are all bakers.

The cafe is run by Ruthie, Colin, Anastacia, and Monty Sands.
